Movies directed

Paul Verhoeven is basically amazing. Not just because he did a bunch of drugs and wrote/manifested Robocop but later basically used the exact same script to write Starship Troopers. What are two perfect examples or the ramblings of a crazy man can also be seen as a person who built a time machine saw the future traveled back in time to tell his tale of what America and the world will become. Along the way between these two humbling portrayals of mankind he also somehow got to direct Showgirls, Total Recall, and Basic Instinct. Seriously this guy is pretty well known in Hollywood but has anyone actually watched all of his movies? Ive seen Robocop many times and Starship troopers as well. And the only conclusion I have is either Paul Verhoeven is crazy(but very successful) or a time traveler. Since im not gonna watch any Showgirls or Basic Instinct ill just assume they are much like Robocop and Starship troopers in which he not only predicts the War on Terror but the economic downturn and real estate crash... also Fox News.
